“ The smartest Xorns sometimes pick up objects, and the most skilled of them use them effectively to defend themselves or perform certain tasks. Among the elite of these “equipped” Xorns, the Duelists are masters in the use of tools, and use three weapons at the same time to fight.
Although they usually only have rocks available, Duelists prefer to use more elaborate equipment if they have the chance to find it. These manufactured weapons are most often recovered from the remains of unlucky adventurers, crushed, trapped or buried in the recesses of the elemental plane of earth. An accomplished Duelist Xorn has three melee weapons, and the luckiest of them sometimes fetch magic items, which they use very clumsily. ”
